Ever since learning about the existence of Google's Quick! Draw dataset, I wanted to find a way to use it in a generative graphic or plot. The idea finally came while wondering around a touristy market in a beach town in Argentina. Vendors were selling posters with drawings of star constellations based on the zodiac signs. I liked the aesthetics of star constellation drawings but was annoyed by the fact that most constellations don't actually look like their namesakes. So I came up with my own constellations, using the drawings dataset.
