The World Economic Forum releases an annual Global Gender Gap Report. We built an interactive visualization of the first decade's worth of data, covering 144 countries.

The visualization uses "scrollytelling", the technique of using the reader's scoll position to adjust the parameters of a visualization in sync with the text. We took this concept further, with a UI that builds up gradually until, by the end of the text, users can tweak all the visualization parameters to construct any view.
